AccuSport Announces 2008 PGA Show Trade-in Program
Customers to Get Credit for Any Launch Monitor
Winston-Salem, NC (January 4, 2008)
AccuSport International Inc., the leading developer and marketer of golf ball launch monitors, today announced an industry-wide trade-in program. Under the terms of the offer, customers can trade-in a competitive launch monitor or Vector Launch System between January 11th and 25th, 2008 and receive a $500 credit toward the purchase of a new AccuSport Vector Pro Launch System normally priced at $3,195.00.
AccuSport is the leading developer and marketer of golf ball launch monitors and its Vector Launch System is recognized throughout the golf industry for its accuracy, portability and affordability. Vector measures and analyzes launch angle, ball speed, backspin, side spin and side angle to instantaneously quantify the performance of both player and equipment. The Vector Pro model offers a fully integrated video swing analysis application for lessons, along with a student database for storing sessions.
"It has come to our attention that there are aging competitive launch monitors that aren't being used or supported," said Bill Brawley, Director of Sales for AccuSport. "We wanted to help these future customers recover some of their investment, and enable them to utilize the same top of the line technology in use by nearly every club manufacturer and several thousand club fitters throughout the industry."
AccuSport will be launching a direct communications program to holders of competitive systems as well as Vector users to inform them of the program. The company will also offer the program as a 2008 PGA Show Special, and will be supporting the program through internet advertising.
"This program is a wonderful opportunity for someone who has an aging or inoperable unit to get some final value out of that purchase and trade-up to the widely popular and industry accepted Vector Pro Launch System," Brawley said. "This is the first time we've offered a trade-in program on our older Vector line, but we stopped selling that model two years ago and numerous customers have since expressed an interest in upgrading to Vector Pro rather than continuing to pay maintenance costs due to wear and tear."
AccuSport will have an expanded presence at the 2008 PGA Show as the company will be sponsoring two Pro-Pro Golf Tournaments and the Best Practices Club Fitting Center at Demo Day. AccuSport will also be exhibiting at the Equipment Test Center (ETC), in Booth # 2028 and will be holding training and information sessions in Meeting Room 206-C. Additional information about the show schedule is available on the company's web site at www.accusport.com.
